Forms and Flows consists of several elements, like:
- the official website.
- the Universal Process Automation Model.
- the official distributions.
Each element has its own individual roadmap which are guided by the master roadmap presented on this page.
Official Forms and Flows distributions will always be provided as an open-source product. This offers great value for organizations from a continuity perspective. It also means that organizations use it at their own risk as well as that the roadmap must be considered as a forecast and not as a fixed commitment.
2026-03-16
The Forms and Flows website is launched and version 1 of distribution Orion is released. This version is a full implementation of version 1 of the Universal Process Automation Model (UPAM) and is regarded as the version for organizations to get known with the product. Version 2 and beyond are regarded as versions to be used in production.
Spring 2026
– A monthly newsletter is offered which includes progress updates and explaining features in more detail. From version 2 of distribution Orion, additional content will be added to newsletter. People can subscribe to the newsletter via the website.
– An early adopter program is started.
– Multiple forms are made available on the website, like a form,
- for feedback.
- to submit an idea.
- to submit an issue.
- for contact.
Summer 2026
– Partnership.
– Version 2 of the UPAM containing extra/improved features, like:
- Files.
- Notes.
- A dedicated canvas app for application managers to configure processes.
- Custom forms.
– Version 2.0 of distribution Orion which is a full implementation of UPAM version 2.
– Sponsoring.
Winter 2026/2027
– Version 3 of the UPAM containing extra/improved features, like:
- reporting.
– Version 3.0 of distribution Orion which is a full implementation of UPAM version 3.
– Version 1.0 of distribution Lynx which is a full implementation of UPAM version 3.
2027 and beyond
After the release of version 2.0 of distribution Orion, the roadmaps for 2027 and beyond will be determined.
