You must be a SharePoint administrator to be able to execute the steps mentioned.

  1. Open the Microsoft 365 admin center in your browser. URL:
    1. https://admin.cloud.microsoft
  2. Click on the menu item SharePoint. The SharePoint admin center opens in a new tab.
  3. Click on the menu item “Active sites”.
  4. Click on the command bar item “Create”.
  5. Click on the card “Browse more sites”.
  6. Select the “Team site”.
  7. Fill in the site details.
    1. Site name
    2. Site description
    3. Site address
    4. Primary administrator
  8. Click on the button “Next”.
